App privacy.
Effective September 13, 2026. This policy covers the Cadence Cue iPhone and Apple Watch apps.
Cadence Cue does not require an account and does not use advertising, tracking, cloud analytics, or a developer-operated cloud service. We do not receive your cadence sessions or Apple Health data through the app.
Data on your devices
Cadence Cue stores session measurements, targets, cue preferences, notes, check-ins, and diagnostic information locally. Session and preference updates can transfer between your paired iPhone and Apple Watch using Apple's WatchConnectivity service. This is device-to-device synchronization, not an upload to Delancey Labs.
Optional Apple Health access
If you enable workout linking, the app requests read-only access to walking and running workouts so you can associate a nearby workout with a cadence session. It does not write workouts or other information to Apple Health. You can change access in Apple's Health and Settings apps. Health information is not sent to us.
Exports and sharing
You can explicitly export session data as CSV or JSON and choose where to share it. The recipient or service you choose handles that copy under its own privacy practices.
Retention and deletion
Use the app's data and privacy controls to export or delete data. Local data remains until you delete it or remove the app and its data. A paired device may retain its synchronized copy until deletion is reconciled there; copies you exported are not deleted by the app.
Support and this website
If you email us, we receive the information you choose to send and use it to respond. We retain support correspondence only as needed for support, business records, security, or legal obligations. Please do not send Health data or session exports unless needed and you choose to share them. Website hosting and request handling are described in our website privacy notice.
Children and policy changes
Cadence Cue is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the app. We will update this policy and the App Store privacy information if the app's data practices change.
